OCATE community
OCATE has been and continues to be a vital member in Oregon's technology community. From its very beginnings, OCATE was the result of a partnership between The AeA Oregon Council, Oregon State Legislature, and the State Board of Higher Education.

Actively participating in industry-academic partnerships, OCATE supports the work of organizations such as the Oregon Metals Initiative which is dedicated to improving the long-term competitiveness of the metals industry through advanced research.

Representing the interests of education and workforce development, OCATE participates in the Westside Economic Alliance, a community group promoting and shaping the growth of Washington County.

As a long-time member of the Business Education Compact, OCATE supports the shared vision and common goals for excellence and relevance in education.

OCATE stays connected to the industry it serves by maintaining affiliations with both local and national professional organizations, such as The Software Association of Oregon (SAO), dedicated to the advancement of Oregon's software industry and Women in Technology International (WITI) helping women advance their careers in technology.
